For 13 years, Call It Off has been a band, and throughout those 13 years, Taylor Swift has always been a part of their story. She has been on the kick drum for 13 years, ever since Call It Off recorded their first original songs in drummer Sergei’s bedroom, surrounded by Taylor Swift records.
And yet, it still took them all this time to finally record a Taylor Swift cover. They did it on Thirteen (Call It Off’s Version) and they (and you!) felt that they weren’t done yet, so we present to you: Thirteen Part II. Thirteen more songs, many of them requested by fans online and after watching the band tear through a set full of covers during the Eras Tour Goes Pop Punk shows they’ve been playing all over Europe.
Once again, this brings two worlds together in Call It Off’s own way: introducing people who may not be familiar with Taylor Swift’s music to her incredible songwriting, while also introducing people who may not know pop-punk to the energy and spirit of this genre.
They poured all their love, passion, and time into these songs, and we hope that, regardless of your musical background or personal taste, you will enjoy Call It Off’s version(s) of these tracks as much as they enjoyed creating them.
